Conflict of Interests

Sometimes, I miss being in stage makeup and costumes, telling a story that isn't mine, but that I'm glad I could share.

Then again, sometimes I wish I could be back in my uniform, winning games for my school and working up a sweat every day.

I guess my personality has a place on both sides of the spectrum.

Hydrogen Explodes Quite Nicely

My phenomenal Chemistry teacher, Dr. Wood, exploded balloons many times this semester.  I took the Chem 285 final today, and it made me sad, because I absolutely loved that class!  And I was good at it!  One bit of advice...don't take a Human Development final immediately after a Chemistry final...because you won't get a very good score.

Oh well.  All is well, because MY FRESHMAN YEAR IS DONE.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Well, it's nearly the end of my freshman year.  What a great year it has been.

Lucky Girl

I'm the luckiest girl in the world, because I have the best friends in the world.  Hands down.  No arguments.  They all love me with no hesitations or exceptions, and we have so much fun together.  Last night we had a farewell party for Mr. Kyle Griffeth, who will be taking a 2-year bicycle trip to Vina del Mar, Chile.  We roasted marshmallows, hot dogs, and watched Hot Rod.  I nearly peed myself because I was laughing so hard.

Max and Austin have attractive shirts.  And hair.  And faces.

Alex and Ryan.  The hottest gingers I know.

My boys Austin and Kyle!  Pretty much if I believed in polygamy I would marry both of them. X)

I don't know what I did to deserve such great guys in my life, but I'm sure glad they're in my life. :)

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter.

Nope.  I miss basketball season.  And my Jimmer.

Family

My FHE family is most definitely the best family I could have had for my freshman year.  Just sayin'.

Smells Like Smoke

Granted I didn't know hardly any of these people (just McKenzie, Whitney, and Cody Canada), but it was still fun.  

An Apology (Because My Life Is Really Busy)

Me and my lovely roommate Whitney

 We went camping this weekend--me, Whitney, Shelby, Mat, Jacob and Brandon.  It was great!  We rode ATVs, had several sweet mishaps, went sand sledding, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, and froze our butts off trying to sleep that night.  It was awesome.

Tomorrow, it will be one year since the closing night of my favorite musical, which I was privileged to be a part of.  Tomorrow will also be the one hundred year anniversary of the Titanic setting sail with 2200 people on board--men, women, children, millionaires, coal miners, businessmen, seamstresses, people trying to uphold a good name, people trying to find a new life for themselves.  I put this up today and not tomorrow because I went to go see the re-showing of the movie Titanic last night with Whitney, Shelby, and Mat.  It was excellent.

The phenomenal David Lee, plus me

Probably the funniest best-friendship ever would be the one I have with David Lee.  It doesn't matter though, because we are the best besties the world has ever seen.  Man, I love this kid!  Ever since we started talking the summer after 9th grade, we've terrorized Lehi and Provo with our awesomeness.  He is the most wonderful friend anyone could ask for.  And that's all I have to say about that.

This is picture #2.  This is Andrew, one of the many great friends I've met at BYU.  He and I had ice cream tonight and talked for SO LONG.  I definitely like a guy that can talk.  I'm glad I decided to say hi that day in October.  He's taught me a lot about boys and life in general, for which I am indebted!  Now I need to go clean up the ice cream dishes.

Holi Festival of Colors 2012!  Me, Devyn, Whitney, Shelby, and Kara

 A festival in which tons of young adults from all different backgrounds come together to shout things in Hindu and throw colorful corn starch at each other. 

Wait, what?

Yep, that's right.  I'm not sure who came up with this, but I'm pretty sure they were Indian.  In any case, it was fun, our bathroom is still colorful, and I'm still not sure if I've gotten all of the pink/orange out of my hair.
